Trying to get my Delica 2.5TD through the emission test.
Only get an oil temp of around 35 (needs 60ish)
Obvious answer get new thermostat.
Less than obvious question.
Where does it go?
Has anyone seen a thermostat housing on the Delica? :?

Welcome Wolfey

are you talking about an oil stat? No idea where that would be.

I think the oil cooler is the one behind the slot in the bull bar zone, you could just tape over it for a quick fix.

How are you measuring the oil temp?

If its anything like the 2.5 paj engine then its quite a lil sod to get too,as u look at the front of the engine you will see the rad hoses dissapearing down into the engine near side as you stand in front of it the bottom rad hose is the one connected to the stat housing,it sits below the power steering pump on the paj engine, the stat housing is like an extension of the waterpump housing ,if you remove the rad hose then undo the bolts securing the *elbow* i think it is then the thermostat is in there, hope that helps you and that it makes sense all the best
if you try this link (pdf)it will show you where the stat is ona 2.5 engine hth
