They look good for off road but they also look like road noise might increase dramatically as well, could be wrong (as always!).......

Yes they do look very noisy. And they are a copy of this  yokohama mud tyre .

They are indeed re-tread, well tested and not many problems reported, Loads of land rover owners use them, I use Colway M/T tyres.

For off road use they are great mainly due to the fact they are cheap so if you bust them... no big bills.

I have heard many scare stories of Bronco tyres de-laminating on the motorway but this is not a reported problem with Colways....
