i recently changed the oil and filter on my 2.8 i used a filter supplied by my local car spares shop for a 2.8 paj , i have read on the pocuk site that the filters are different !! can some body enlighten me PLZ Rolling Eyes ????

The filters are different in what respect? the 2.8 pajero filter is and does fit the the Delica engine after all they are both mitsubishi 4M40 units,so worry ye not matey everything should be fine. Shocked Wink :D

my thoughts entirly the only thing that made me panic after reading the post on the other side is my old filter had a drain screw on the bottom :?

( the oil was like nothing i have ever seen and i have had about 10 isuzu trooper diesels , black water is the best description). Shocked

You can get aftermarket ones with the drain plug in them mainly blueprint i think it is,but other than it being a drain plug thats it all it is a drain plug so no worries there matey,hth

Did I hear the guy at Milners right, I think he said the Pajero air filter fits as well because he said he had no Pajero filter kits in stock so I had to pay £22 quid for the Delica air filter alone

You too m8. I spent over £70 on geniune Mits Air & oil filters before I found out about the forum and the cheaper suppliers Embarassed
