I am thinking of buying a Delica from Evolution in Southampton. Has anybody had any experience of them please?

I live just up the road from Evolution.
Not had any direct dealing with them, but they have been there maybe 5 years as Evolution, and previously as Westwood Motors who were there for at least 20 years before that. (Think its the same company? as the Westwood Motors sign is still prominantly placed on the side wall after a refurb). So that might mean they are okay - well they haven't gone bust or been shut down!

Ah ha. Think I know the place now... Not been past there in years tho Rolling Eyes Best go have a look and a good long test drive. Try and find some loose ground (Gravel car park?) and give the 4WD a go etc. Check all the lights work on the dash etc. Give all the toys a go and make sure the warranty covers them all. At least after reading this forum you are armed with a bit of knowledge, If in doubt at least there are more about nowadays so you can walk a way and know you will soon find another Wink
I wish I had known a bit more about them before I bought mine... I would still have got it but I could have bargained with the dealer a bit more Wink Twisted Evil Laughing

Thanks guys. I've had a test drive and all seemed to be okay. They have agreed to fix the things I found and then I will have the AA inspect it afterwards. If that is okay then I'll be taking the plunge :D

Sorry this is off-topic but I did'nt know how to quote cross-thread :?

Russ how would you know if the 4WD was'nt working? If the selector lever went in okay and there were no onvious noises how might you tell if anything was amiss Question
