Just been having a look at various tyre sizes and combos that i could put on the bus then i stumbled on 235/85/r16 this actually sounds like a fairly good tyre to have on the bus as its narrow enough to cut through the mud and get grip while also tall enough to get extra diff clearance as this works out to be 31.72" diameter there whats fitted to landrover defenders i think, and there cheap as to boot.

The original wheels fitted to the Deli is a 225/80/R15 so you should use that size to compare against, and have a a diameter difference of less than 3%.  In your case the difference is somewhat abaove that, which will affect your speedo reading.

Yes i know that the speedo reading will run out as mine does now as i have 31x10.5 as the minute but thats the least of my worries as you just don't drive as fast thats an easy fix  :D just go through cameras at 20-25 not 30 when looking at what the speedo says.

just i've got a set of alloys in my garage with one rim having a 32x11.5xr15 and i need 3 tyres to go on the other rims to make a full set but i priced them up as being £115 excluding delivery each !!!!! Shocked

and there not that much bigger than what i have fitted at the mo and i only paid £60 supplied fitted and balanced each for them, just these tyres will still give nearly the same ground clearance albeit a bit narrower which could actually be a good thing when being offroad and there actually a fiver less than what i have fitted at the mo. as there only £55 each.
