A really good day out, Thanks Rusty.  Good to meet everyone again and some new faces too.

I managed to get a few pics this time.

Snapped this one while it was still dry, just before Rusty unleashed the rain.  Made me want to run around the Mystery Machine with a sponge and a bar of soap Laughing

Some likely looking sorts entering the museum!

This looks like a bit of fun

Wow what a car! The 1931 model J Duesenberg, there's bound to be a few pics of this one showing up.

The Rude Dude makes no excuse for stalling in the car park, he said he didn't want to leave the other delis behind and felt sorry for the dirty one  Embarassed

Good to see that Rusty is finally getting the hang of his camara, just needs to get his baseball cap under control now lol

A big thank you for coming to everyone there. Great to see you all.

Enjoyed my visit to the museum. I completely forgot to take any pictures of the Delis in the car park Embarassed  But I took plenty inside the museum and you can see them HERE

Or by clicking on the picture of Dinkum Dude below. It was easy to take the picture as he especially stalled the engine just for me... Or so he says... Twisted Evil

Enjoy 8)

Hope you all had safe journeys home. Cheers again Razz

Josh and I had a great time - thanks especially to Alison, Julie and Kelly (and Pete some of the time!) for letting us join you and for keeping Josh amused (I think I got that the right way round Kelly and Julie Wink  Laughing )

Thanks for organising it Russ and to Dinkum Dude for the underseat box! (blimey, sounds like an Oscars speech! Rolling Eyes )

Many thanks to Rusty for organising another great meet!  :D

It was nice to know he managed to order some of his 'special weather' for us all!  Laughing  Laughing  Laughing

I had a GREAT time wandering around all the cars, discussing who'd owned what (I think IanFJ won the most! I only found 3 that I'd owned!  Sad )

Maybe we should put pressure on the curator to get a Deli in there (maybe an L300 & L400??  Twisted Evil )

Personal fave?? Either the El Camino or the Citroen SM! (there were plenty more...but these were the two that stuck in my mind!  Wink

Thanks again Rusty,

Bruce.

Laughing  yes there was a Marina in there  Embarassed  not entirely as bad as the press they received I have to say, but the Ital, now that was truly awful  Laughing
In my defence, I managed about 10 years of motoring with my only expense being tax, insurance, MOT and fuel, by not being too fussy about what model i drove, I would buy them old and in need of a bit of work, fix them up during my ownership and sell them in better condition, that way i managed to not lose money on some of my cars and even make a bit on a few  :D. One example was a Ford 100E bought for about £200, spent a further £100 fixing it up and sold for £450 plus a Morris Ital, i used the Ital for about 3 months then sold that for a further £450.  Motoring started to cost me a lot of money when i started to buy some of the "nicer" ones and lost on depreciation etc  Rolling Eyes
