Well Marc.........I'm glad you mentioned 'The Garage'!  :D

I also think that the garage is a great addition to this already wonderful place, it is like full service history of my Deli.  Plus at a glance you can see how much you have spent on your Delica.

An invaluable resorce of your own and others delicas, the garage is fantastic :D a credit to the mods and admin of this site 8)

not generally... most people only list modifications there (ie, bigger Tyres, new stereo, CB radio, etc)
generally repairs aren't listed in the garage at all...

Hi,

1992 L300 Exceed, Crystalite Roof, Carbon Grey over Grace Silver.

130K Kilometres, used everyday for work, shops etc. Owned for a month already done two airport runs & short break to Norfolk. Done about 1800km since purchased. Novelty hasn't worn off yet, hope it never does :D

Remedial work done - MPH speedo face, EGR valve plate, wet footwells cured and vibration sound when at cruising speeds sorted (thanks MysteryMachine).

Still to do - want a towbar, maybe new tyres. Nothing really wrong with current ones, but they're old and I like the look of those with white lettering on sidewalls!

No serious probs to mention, but front brakes starting to squeal a little, so new pads on the way.

Cost me £1400 and I think it's a bargain hard to beat - fun, practical and (In my opinion) great looking vehicle.

Deli's ROCK!!! Razz  Razz  Russ.

Hi Guys,

VEHICLE TYPE: L400 LWB Royal Exceed 1994 M Reg
ENGINE:  2.8 TURBO DIESEL 4M40

MILEAGE: 122670 KMS used daily for work 30 miles round trip and weekends probably 200 miles average kayaking and body boarding

MAJOR FAILURE: Air Con Compressor Clutch failed (currently sourcing a replacement)

REMEDIAL WORK REQ: replaced switchable 4WD vacuum solenoids and reattached wire where unscrupulous dealer had cut the wire off so that the front lights didn't keep flashing (after I asked him to fix it before I bought it - b*stard)

RECURRING FAULT: hesitant to switch back to 2WD sometimes, but other than that it's generally a dream to drive Smile
