Muskateer,
If you are going to come on here making statements like that then we would appreciate it if you could at least supply the reasons behind it,a history would be good as making a statement like that isn't helpful to either you or the club.
Other members that have had problems with them have at least detailed them so others can see for themselves the kind of issues they have had,
If you cannot/willnot supply details of your grievence with them then i will have no other choice but to remove your post.

I'm sorry to have to post this but we do not want allegations made on the forums with nothing to sunstantiate them with, after all libel / defamation is a funny thing :?  :?

Marc

Cheers for taking notice, I appreciate your warning about the post.

There are some other posts on this website about the guy, and I got the information about some of the other names he's traded under from other threads on this forum:

http://www.MDOCUK.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?p=54632

I'm building on you're previous statements.  I'm trying to get in touch with other people on here who've been treated badly or illegaly.

He sold me a car which blew up after 150 miles, told me he would fix it, had me pay £200 quid for towing and then after 2 weeks of promising and lying, told me he was bust and could not afford to repair it.  He's still trading, he's got my money and my car and won't talk to me.  The police won't get involved and my solicotor is the only thing I've got to get at him with, but as my claim is for less than 5k - I cannot claim the legal costs back.  I've just moved house and have no wheels, am 2.5 grand down.
He's just bought a new house and he drives around in a new Lexus 300 bought from screwing people like me over.  I'm looking for some payback and at least want to warn others not to deal with this guy.

He can't sue for lible because it's all true.  I'm happy to chat to anyone who knows more about this guy or these companies.

I just tried the link above to the thread, but  it's been deleted.

Here is another link, and below is the text transcript:

Thats fair enough muskateer but obviously as you know if you do make any statements on the forum could you please just make sure that they are facts and not heresay and also that anything you publish is (as it seems to be) able to be backed up should the need arise. This is obviously to protect you as well as the club,
I don't see the need also to post all of the above mate?? if you wish to take note of them then please do or just post a link to them rather than the whole transcript in the thread,i don't think it serves any purpose????as all of the information is on this site and researchable if needed,
i wish you luck in any action you take, please do keep us infomed.

I have also quoted the transcript above as it didn't make any sense as it was,at least it can be seen to be quoted text now, altho as i said i fail to see the need for it to be there at all, links would have been more appropriate

I'm sorry James,

as you have stated the details of YOUR case and YOU take full responsibility for the post, I'm okay with that.

While it's not unreasonable for you to share YOUR experience here, I'm afraid you can't use these services to run your case.

I am sure that anybody else affected by this will contact you privately should they wish.

While you cannot currently send PM, you can receive.

Good luck!

Simon

The links I put in didn't work because the mods have killed the old thread, so I posted one page out of 5 pages of complaints about the guy that you won't be able to see normally.  I explained this already.  ALSO, the comments:

"Learn from this.

are not mine - the mod forgot to take this off the end when deleting the transcript.

I'm running my case through my solicitor.  PM me and I'll send you a copy of the letters that have gone out to date.

Seeing as other members had claimed to have been ripped off by this guy and he specialises in 4x4s it seem prudent for me warn prospective buyers about this wideboy and give the others that have already been robbed some satisfaction that this guy is going to get legaly hammered for his bad practices.  Once I've sued him he'll be reported to the DTI, Office of Fair Trading and I've already got a file started against him with Grays Council and Consumer Direct.

This is what happens to bad dealers.

If you are really worried about him suing for liabel then the mods should put a disclaimer on my email saying that it is not the opinion of the MDOCUK and that you take no responsibility for the reliability of the statements.

I'm a good bloke really!  Just had it this time - think Michael Douglas in Falling Down: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falling_Down
