All joking aside, I hope the trip to Poole went well. _________________ Andy

A big loud THANK YOU goes out to Rusty for organising an excellent weekend, and to everyone for the warm welcome us newbies got on our first meet! The weather was terrible, the wind didn't stop blowing and I bent all my tent pegs but we are looking forward to the next meet already, so something must have gone right!
See you all again soon

Hi all,
sorry for the delay, been a bit busy since we got back from the meet.
First of all a big thanks to Rusty for all the organising stuff,
and now for the pics, not many as my hands were a bit shakey, I think some one slipped some alcohol in with all my orange juices
this piccy was quite hard to get as Andy was trying to make a quick getaway, most of his neighbours had clocked him falling into his Deli in the small hours a little bit worse for wear.
Scarey (Scott) surprised most of us with his pasta dishes and the fact that all his dishes were washed and put away before Dave had got a decent glow from the depths of his unlightable B-B-Q.
We went back to the field about two days later and there was still one Deli left, after tippy toeing round the Deli, Dave was still there huffin and puffin and muttering something about not going untill they had eaten!
Just thought i would show off our new fitted kitchen, i didn't think it would all be fitted before the meet but after many late nights, all the hard graft was worth it i think.
After we had left we went in search of some local wild life, here you can clearly see the biggest dog in the world, i had to take a piccy cos you lot would never have believed me, it makes our dog look really small.
we did try to play fetch with it but for some strange reason it just would`nt play ball!
Many thanks to everyone, hope to see you again soon at another meet.

Well I'm back from my hols in Devon & Cornwall. Good to see some of the pictures posted, and I'm glad everyone seems to have enjoyed themselves. I've still not had time to sort my photos (Such as they are...) out.
In the meantime, I think I should also add a special thanks to Pete & Dannie for providing the ‘canteen’ facilities despite being tired and on their way back from holiday. I do hope Gina is feeling better now. Tortus Dave for providing Madonna. I’m gonna see if I can find one of those! And of course Pad for providing the other tent which housed the ‘Imax’™ cinema experience for the kids :lol; and the adult ‘Pub’ in the evening… Sardines anyone
I loved the way people gathered under the ‘roofless’ Madonna in the rain as if it provided some kind of invisible protection Mind you it did seem to work !!!
The ‘glowing necklesses and armbands went down a treat as well and let us see where the kids and dogs were in the dark
I also owe a very special personal thanks to Beat and Sarah, Ann & David for feeding me. And Dave Tortus for providing the transport on our Towsure excursion. (I won’t mention the excellent meal we had at the pub Mark)
Finally I would appreciate any feedback regarding the timing of the event and how I could improve it if we do it again next year. I was thinking of making it a longer event perhaps…
Apologies if I left anyone out. I would like to say how nice it was to see the many new faces, which goes to show what a great vehicle the Delica is. The way it draws the nicest people together… Sorry, I’m getting all Richard Attenborough
Cheers everyone
PS, Please pass on a Belated happy birthday to Amanda, Bruce _________________

Just a short one to say hello and thanks to the people we met when we turned up. Got to the site around 3pm on Saturday after a protracted journey from north Dorset where we had just started a holiday.
Sorry we didn't stick around and circulate a bit more but the weather was against us and we couldn't quite pluck up the courage to go knocking on windows
It was still good to see so many Delis in one place and not a single one the same! (I recognise a lot from the posted photos)
Would also add my thanks to Rusty for putting it all together and hello to Jonny B and partner who gave us a little tour of their uber hotrod take on the project. Full of nice touches.
Liked to have stayed longer but with the heavens opening, a cottage rented and our little black Toyota Yaris looking seriously outgunned- we made off.
Hope it went off well and look forward to hooking up at another one sometime.
regards,
Lifer |

Cool Photos Rusty. I was very very blurred by the morning
I can't imagine why there are no more photos of the birthday boy
Thanks again for sorting this event out Rusty, it was a great laugh. _________________ Way to many toys.

Most of those pics looked like everything I looked at on Sunday morning, Very Blurry (so it wasn't just me, the pics prove it.)
I agree with Richie, lets see the pics of Dave and his birthday cake
Thank you Russ for a great weekend.

Sorry, No pictures of the birthday cake due to some idiot forgetting to take the lens cap of his super duper camera Loads of flashes and no pictures
I tell a lie. I took one just after Dave blew out the candles... But the flash 'bounced' off the smoke...
I'll see if I can find it...
Sorry, I trashed it _________________

great pics but unless my misses is having secret liasons with ferretman behind my Deli in pic 3 ,then it's not ferretman,it's me.
the pics came out well considering the weather and light,it'sa pity we couldn't get a line up of all the Deli's in one picture, maybe next time
perhaps the meet could be longer next time if the weathers o.k,was just getting into it when it was time to leave _________________ ...Dave... they called me mr square,
but i didn't really care,
