|
Thought id bump up a new thread related to lots of old threads. In regards to people being not so sure about Milners filters and the quality of them and the actual design e.t.c. my Bus has been running on Milners filters (oil, Air, fuel) for over 6 years ever since it came into the country and not one problem in regards to filters. My oil still almost comes out as clean as it went in doing a change every 4,500 miles or year which ever comes first! Enough said! _________________ i gotttttt a Delica |

I used Milners for the filters etc and they are fine but the driveshaft gaiters were no use at all.

Took me about 2 hours as well with Milners kit ( L300 ) delivered about £40 and the correct amount of Fuchs oil.
I've used the old oil on the shed...yes..that's right...I painted it on the waterproof it for the winter...why not...people used to do sensible things years ago when they had no choice....
It works a treat anyway...the Deli that is...and the shed as well.
Never had a problem with milners and always quick to respond to emails also.....

Made 2 orders with them over the past year of about £200+ each time.
First order was for bottom pulley, belts and oil service kit.
They sent the wrong belts, which they sppologied for and ensured i had the correct belts the next day despite it being christmas post and covered in snow. Told me to keep the old belts.
Second order was for suspension parts including bushes, links and springs.
Springs sagged and lowered the rear by 2" i had a thread about it somewhere, so i had to have them collected. I was told that they would have to text them before replacements or refund was given, which i wasn't overly happy with, but i eventually the money appeared back in my account, although i was never given notice of this or a reason why the springs were crap. Again when i called to complain i was told they had sold 100s of the springs already for delicas and noone else had problems like this................ |

I think people are missing the point, they supply the parts they don't manufacture them.
Getting them out to you quickly and changing things when they are wrong is good service.
Everyone wants the cheapest parts or they would use the main dealer for everything so quality will vary as with any pattern parts, the customer (you) will be responsible for testing the parts, Mitsubishi won't have! _________________ Marc

Never had a problem with them so far, always had next day service.
If you have modified something you have invalidated any warranty.
Did you have it skimmed and fitted before you rang Milners?
If so you did it the wrong way round, providing it was still in warranty they would have probably helped. _________________ Ian.
