Only parts I've replaced have been the centre dash panel (Most have been SVA'd so I believe), the o/drive light and the rear brake pads.
So apart from the large service I had done no real problems (Still wouldn't be without it!!! :D
Really it's only stuff I'd do with any car that I've owned |

No problems with my current one - apart from the OD switch but I wouldn't count that. _________________ Pete

I took the second poll option: a few niggly problems...
The overdrive switch is not perfect, the centre dash panel was smashed by the dealer (twice!) and the sunroof gave some problems with a loose motor and lack of lubrication. I think the latter was through lack of use.
I get to use the sunroofs a lot now in sunny Sydney. (Just a dig, I used to live in Hertfordshire but opted for life in the colonies!) _________________ Michaelr

I think there is one thing apparent and that is that Delicas need a good full service here in UK as they may have been standing in Japan before export. I note Pete's post in other thread about low milage examples (Mine has approx 40000 miles) and reluctantly agree Mine runs fine apart from slight occasional 'misfire' (looming Fuel pump problem?) and hasn't cost anything other than 'normal' servicing costs

The transmission's speed sensor failed, which caused shifting problems. Apart from that and the soon-to-be-fixed suspension bushes and some boots, it's a great machine. Can't remember life without "The Thing". _________________ 94 L400 SWB |
