if one was to buy an august 1996 Delica, needing an sva test,If i stored it till after august first, could i just then mot it as a now over ten year old car and no sva.or am i being stupid!!!! |

Sounds reasonable to me. You will have to wait until then to register it! So obviously you can't drive it till then. |

we often do that when we bring cars in through the jap auctions, gives ya that little bit of time to do all the essential services,checks etc |

Yep, you have to wait until 10 years from the month and year it was first registered. Which is NOT what autoadvan told me when I bought mine from Japan, so I had to get the SVA so I could use it! (for 8 months!) _________________ Gary. |

I've bitten the bullet and gone for it.Gives me 6 weeks to service ,fit towbar,chrome the bull bars ,ect ect.I,m all excited,been looking for ages for a decent one.George |
