Thanks for coming again guys and to Phil for joining us - hope you had a good evening. We had a great time too - Josh was asleep within 5 minutes of leaving the pub though! See you all again soon!

Now we know we're definitely getting our Deli back we'd happily meet up with you all in our Skoda Fabia courtesy car if you'll have us . We've met up a couple of times over the winter at the Worlds End pub near Wellington if an evening suits but I don't know if Easter is a bit short notice for some! _________________ Mick and Kathryn - Black over silver L400 |

Hi there,Worlds End is fine by me,Easter is too short a notice though.
Nothing wrong with Skoda's,but it would be nice to see you back with the Deli.
Hope to see you soon.

Not having a go at Skodas in particular Bill . I quite like it for what it is, but such a small car is a bit of a culture shock after the Deli, particularly for Mick who moans about the legroom in my Focus . Anyone got a shoehorn?
Did you happen to be in Minehead today? Saw a nice lwb like yours outside Tesco. Have mentioned it in "was it you?" _________________ Mick and Kathryn - Black over silver L400 |

Nobody has suggested a date yet so how about either the evening of Friday 27th or lunchtime of Sunday 29th April (can't remember if your problem with a Sunday last time was a one-off or a permanent one Pete). There might even be an outside chance of our Deli being back by then 8). Looking at my diary another thought occurs about whether anyone fancies a day at the seaside (maybe Dunster Beach) on the Sunday of the following weekend (6 May - bank holiday weekend) _________________ Mick and Kathryn - Black over silver L400 |

I've had an initial look into spending the day at Dunster Beach on 6th May (ie checked tide times! ) and it will be high tide at about 9.30am, so if we arranged to meet at approx 10.30am it'll be well on the way out, leaving the beach clear for us! Low tide is about 3.30pm and the sea is a LONG way away at that point. Parking is not actually on the beach but is adjacent to and overlooking it. The beach is a combination of sand, shingle and pebble with a stream and lots of interest for kids (of all ages). There are toilets, a kiosk and pitch and putt golf nearby, not to mention the West Somerset Railway (steam trains) half a mile up the lane if you get really bored!
The beach and car park etc is privately owned and if quite a few of us are interested I could see if it would be possible to reserve an area for us all to park together, I would guess in the section overlooking the beach where dogs are allowed as I think quite a few of us have them (it is a poop and scoop area anyway)
I have suggested the Sunday as the roads around here tend to be a bit of a nightmare at the beginning and end of a bank holiday weekend so you're less likely to find yourself sitting in traffic on the A39 on the Sunday!
Let me know if you're interested or if you have a suggestion of somewhere better or would prefer a different day! (apart from Brean I think Dunster is one of the few beaches in Somerset where you can park on or virtually on the beach)
