Whats the maximum i can have in there.
Currently i have about 35, but i have a few 1000k continental road journeys coming up and would like to improve the mpg a little.
Would more pressure affect the tyre wear...partcularly on mountain roads? |

there was a thread a while ago with the general concenus being what ever max pressure on the side of the tyre is less 10% seems to work well, but I'm on about 40PSI front and 44 rear with Bridgestone Duellers 31" tyres.
so if the max pressure on the tyre says 50psi then try 45psi
I put more in rear than front only cos thats how manufactures seem to do it, the front getting the bigger foot print as it steers the car and does most of the braking, the rear more pressure as it tends to carry the weight.
either way 35PSI IMO is too low for road use uses more fuel. On road about 40 off road about 26psi _________________ Regards
