I would love to try some non damaging green lane driving but havn't a clue where they are, especially with the rules changing on where we are allowed to drive and where not Rolling Eyes

I live about 15 miles west of you Red, I've never found or heard of anywhere in the locality. I think you need to head north (a long way!) where there's less population and more wilderness!

Hi Redneck
When we have been off roading we went to Downton just north of Ringwood and travelled off road untill we arived at the back of Salisbury Race Course, We then went onto Sailsbury Plain for some distance. Would suggest not suitable for Deli though. Your SJ would be ideal. We used to be in contact with a guy who specialised in SJs and often went Offroading weekends will try to find his number as he is good for parts to.

Thanks guys. Richie, my sj isn't road legal (at the moment) so it's only suitable for organised off road events, that's why i was hoping to get a bit of light green laning done in the Deli.
I know the route you are talking about as i used to stay at the campsite alongside Salisbury racecourse and had the odd excursion along that track, didn't go too far though :?
I would be glad to hear of anyone organising a green lane jolly so i could come along Laughing

There's a place on the way to Moreton, took a swb Paj up there a while back to help the owner with his control. I'd take my Deli up there anytime. :D

There are quite a few green lanes near us. The Fosse Way is only a mile up the road. Laughing  Laughing  I used to take our old shogun along it , but collected to many battle scars. Sad  Sad  It's a bit overgrown in places, and very rutty in other parts. There are two fords along the route too. Laughing  Laughing
There aint no way i would take my Deli along there, but I'd be happy to catch a ride in someone else's. Laughing  Laughing  Laughing

Cheers Dave.

This might help for some route ideas.
I would be up for some green laning in the Hants area as well.
