Those that have seen my 'Band expander' photos will know that the centre dash consol is pretty fragile. Mine was broken or cracked in several places and made squeaking noises on uneven roads etc. I've 'had a go' at it with a soldering iron to 'weld' the plastic together with some success. I've posted the pics in my 'Band expander' photo album, but here's one of them:

I reckon a little more work with the soldering iron and some black plastic filler will improve it no end... You never know.. I might save myself a lot of money Wink
