Warning from that site:

Important May 2006 - a recent bill in parliament means that it is now (since 2nd May 2006) illegal to drive many rights of way with a motorised vehicle such as a 4x4 or motorbike.

Many of our routes are now out of date

Absolutely correct, which is why I advised using that website for info, rather than one which does not give a warning!

Routes that are closed are controlled by a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) and must be clearly marked with this sign:-

Full details are on the above website here:- http://www.offroadroutes.net/Pages/row/types.asp

this is a well maintained site,

not so easy to use but a lot of good info, used to be chargeable, now free,

used by land rover forums who go off roading legaly,

as the only way to be 100% sure of the legality of a route is to check it with the local council, its updated and if your okay with a map will give you loads of routes,

also try locating a local land rover club maybe via LRUK forum, they are a good bunch and its great to see their laughs disapear when your "Jap Bus" just follows them  Twisted Evil

Or get a bunch of Delica owners out your way to plan a day out  Laughing  I'd like to explore your side of the country, I have only been out and about in wales !
