I'm about to send an order for two alternator belts but am not sure whether to order the PAS belt as well. It doesn't appear slack at all and looks newish. The fluid level is also okay but the steering is stiffening sometimes. Could the PAS be affected by something other than the belt and the fluid level ?

Belts on the right are slack, the belt nearest the fan (PAS) appears okay.[/img]

Replace all the belts while you are there - they all have to be removed anyway to replace the alternator belt.
