a few months ago I bought some chrome hubcaps to spruce her up a little (L400). Went to fit them this weekend.
However the aftermarket false split-rim 16" wheels have too deep/thick a lip around the hub area for the clips to "grab" the chrome trim... anyone had any experience, got any idea of where to get longer clips? any ideas appreciated! |

Hi
I have the same problem as I have fitted non-mitsi wheels. Been looking for some way of fitting hub covers for over a year. I eventually gave up and just painted the hubs with satin black.
Cheers

Could you get a couple of mill machined off the wheel centres? If they have so much extra thickness it may be okay? _________________
