Hi all,

Does anybody know if any places are selling 255/65 16R tyres with white lettering at a good price.  I'm looking for a set to put on my new alloys for around £200.

I know some people have had some good deals on tyres and I don't need fitting, already got someone lined up to fit them for me.

Looking forward to getting some tyres on these, and giving the callipers a lick of paint.

This place is nowhere near you but they do deliver and at least you can get some idea of price Wink

http://www.elite-design.co.uk/

It's where I get the tyres for our motors from and all the tracking set up 8)

Avons and Goodyear also have the white lettering Wink

I got the cheapes tyres I could find in ATS (Maxxis I think).  They have white lettering and were £65 each incl. fitting.

In that tyre size you may have problemsgetting any.  If you change to a different profile then you stand a better chance. with a size of 255/65/16R you could change to a 235/70/16R, which would be a speed difference of only  0.35%.  Which is probably as close as you can get, anything within 3% is considered okay.  In which case you could go for these:-

They are the Kumho Road Venture AT KL-78 and should cost in the region of £50 each.  See here for the details on them:-

If you want a good source of online tyres Black Circles is pretty good. My dad's website has a link about 3/4 of the way down the page taking you directly to their site (and if you need a new phone there's a good link on their too. Check out http://www.iandickinson.com/ and see if you could save on your tyres there. I've checked this site before and always found it to be the cheapest online.
