Hi, it all depends how you wish them to work, ie with the high beam or independent which is best.
You will need some wire to suit the power of your spots, ie 55 watt or 100 watt. A switch with a light build in. a relay with build in fuse, elec conectors etc.

Fit the switch into the dash, I have mine to the right of the steering wheel using one of the unused switch blocks. Take a live feed from a fuse rated at around 6 amps. feed this to the swtch and then to the relay ( the relay will have which post to use maked on the packet) remember to piggy back the live feed on the switch so the light comes on when in the On position, take the earth from the switch to any eathing point behind the dash, there are a lot of them.
On the relay you need to take a live feed from the battery to the relay, an earth feed from the relay to an earth point within the engine bay, again there are a few places you can use. or feed back to the earth of the battery. take a feed to the spots, I like to use two wires from the relay to the spots so there is no drop in power. then earth each spot to the car ( you can use the mounting bolts for this.
Thats it.
To make the spots work without the switch you need to take a live feed from the back of the mainbeam feed to the relay. Its best and for the MOT to use a switch and you must use a relay ( around 6 pounds from a motor factors) it took me just over an hour to fit my lights so its not a big job.
hope the above is helpful wendy
