A simple question - can you tear through fairly shallow water in a Delica without a care in the world or should I worry about engine/electrics/auto box cooling fan etc.
This is my first 4x4 so I'm not sure what I can get away with. |

As a rule Mrmark the water depth to safely go through is normally the height of the tyres *i think* now i know this is the case of the paj but not sure of the Delica (not tried it in mine yet ) but any real shallow stuff is okay to plow through obviously bearing in mind the risks of aquaplaning nearly anything is passable but the thing to remember is pass with care so just go steady and she will confidently pass anything id say hope that helps atb

Just had a play in local ford which is appx 2ft deep at moment and about 60ft wide and very fast flowing (yes it`s a good one) the only problem i have is my nice Cibie spotlights are now full of water, must get some goldfish to go in them. For the young ones among us thats 60cm deep and 20 metres wide, i forget that some people only work in centipedes and millipedes instead of good old pounds shillings and pence :D :D _________________ Delica 2.8 super exceed Space Gear black/silver(1996) now sold
