I've just done this job and thought I would pass on the experience.

As the link in FAQ's says it can be done without jacking up, just put the steering on full lock to inprove access. Main problem I had was removing the originals, the nuts needed a huge amount of torque to shift them but at the same time you have to hold the stem with an Allen key. If you don't manage to loosen them in a couple of minutes it isn't worth the effort of struggling on; you'll find it much easier to cut through the stem with an angle grinder. Smile

The pattern parts I used seem fine, I measured them 3mm shorter between centres but considering the job they are doing it won't affect suspension geometry.

The pattern parts I used were from Auto Jap Spares, I got them about 3 months ago but only just got round to fitting them. I think they were £15 each + vat and postage.
