Does anyone know where the thermostat sensor for the AT is on diesel L300's?

My dash light flickers and then comes on at random times, I used to panic and pull over to let it cool down but now I largely ignore it as its started to flicker and the oil is lays fine and topped up, plus its instantly and from cold starts.

I'm thinking its a dodgy sensor. can you get these and are they easy to replace?
