Hi.
Not been here for a while, but still running the old bus.
I’m not so good at spannering these days due to illness, but I had a go at removing my wiper arm and managed to crack my window badly 😔
Auto glass can replace it, they’ve got a window but they can’t find a seal !
In fairness their price ain’t bad for a new window.
Anyone got any ideas on where I might get an OE seal or a good aftermarket one?
My local dealer used to be great, and would order stuff up if they could, but they got bought out, staff changed n now they’re worse than useless.
Grateful for any advice 👍🏼

Give Ross at Harrats, in Wakefield a ring and ask for the 2.8TD windscreen fitting kit.

Alternatively Use Amayama:- https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/epc/mitsubishi-japan/delica_space_gear/pe8w/hsnhf2/body/windshield-glass-moulding

Thanks Lewis.
I looked at Amayama, but felt nervous about the site, if you’ve used them, I guess I can trust them in future.
I managed to get the rubber seal from America and bit the bullet on the silly postage charge 🙄
I hope it’s just that they require, as you mention maybe Harrats might have a kit?
If their fitter says the rubber isn’t enough, I’ll try and get the kit and have a spare rubber 🤷‍♂️
Used to use a local car dealer who had an old guy in the spares counter who got me anything a needed, they sold up n now it’s all fancy chairs n blank stares when I ask !
Used to do all my own work on the bus, but now anything I try just ends up in further destruction 😁
Thanks for the info, and take care👍🏼

Ross would need to get it from Mitsu's Central Parts Dept, which is usually overnight, unless it has dropped into the Special Parts dept, and requires ordering in from Japan.

Amayama is okay, but I only order stuff from Japan, The postage from the US is ludicrous and I won't pay that for anything.
I also stopped ordering from the UAE after waiting for a month for delivery of a side door top bracket.  I had tracking info which stated it had been put onto a flight to the UK a week after ordering it; but nothing after that.
It took them a week to work out the postal company had returned it to them, the airline having stopped working, and put it back into their stock, without refunding or even advising me.  When it eventually arrived it turned out to be the right item, but for a D:5, not a L400.

I've just got a reversing light switch from Amayama (Thanks Lewis!) and it arrived fine, just took quite bit of time to get through the various customs posts.
Original part in OEM packing (or very good fake!!) so far so good, just got to get round to fitting it.
