Hi guys I am hoping some one can point me in the right direction. I have a p reg Delica 2.8 4M40. I have replaced the seal on the front of the fuel pump the car ran perfectly, this was about five or six years ago, then the other day the seal failed again, so I replaced the seal. Engine timed up to tdc fuel pump marked. Now for the strange part, the car starts up, runs okay, but it's hunting on idle, also a white/blue smoke and no power.

I have checked the turbo that's fine
Checked all vacuum pipes the're fine
Changed injectors four years ago
Did head gasket four years ago due to a snapped glow pug in the cylinder head also four new glow plugs

Now it's baffling me as it starts up but hunts on idle with white /blue smoke the when you rev it the smoke clears until it goes back down to idle

Also had new fuel primer housing and new filter
