Hi all  looking at the wiring loom that eventually reaches the alternator i noticed a heavy black wire with a bright red stripe on the loom that has a round connector on it.
It is positioned between the two fuel pump connectors and the cylinder head water manifold connectors.
So this wire is positioned approximately above the fuel pump and looks like an earth strap/wire
All help greatly appreciated as cylinder head and batteries  are off the car at present 2.8 td
Peter

It is a redundant cable from the glowplug solenoid to the BusBar, from the early Deli's, when there used to be two cables connected to it.
