Is there a buyers guide or keeping rolling guide for new owners on the forum? L400 2.8 the model I'm thinking of specifically? Thank you! |

25+ year old Delicas are now in that grey area between classic and old banger. A genuine low mileage, immaculate, no rust model with a good service history (unicorn) could be worth north of £10,000 if someone wants that. On the other hand, your average 180,000 miler, with original interior, reasonably well maintained, no obvious issues, but probably welded in the usual places could fetch £3-£5,000. for A rough do-er up-er with work needed for next MoT could be had for £1-£2,000. Add £500-£2,000 for a LWB. These are just my estimations from observations, and don't include new imports. You could buy a rough diamond that just keeps going, or a beautiful pig-in-a-poke that just demands you spend money to fix something else every week/month. _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |
