For those that have or converting would you go split charge system or power pack such as a jacket or Bluetooth, both have advantages but one is very expensive, any one done either your thoughts

I have a split charge system to a single 110 ah leisure battery.
It is wired through a voltage sensing relay rated at 50 amps.
When the engine is started and the voltage from the alternator reaches 13.1 volts the relay closes and the leisure battery is charged.
After switching off when the voltage of the batteries drops to 12.6 volts the relay opens and you have always sufficient power to start the vehicle. The relays come as kits on Amazon complete with relay, wiring in various lengths and fuse protection units.
My alternator is a 95 amp one and is sufficient for my needs. You can get 125 amp alternators if you wish.
Some on here have huge banks of batteries and large invertors to give mains voltage for equipment.
Mine is enough to run a fridge and lights on a 24 hour basis.
During the day when camping and parked up I have a 100 watt solar panel feeding the leisure battery and a 25 watt solar panel feeding the van battery.
If away for a long time I also have a 2kw invertor mains generator for all electrics.
