Good work Simon, that's a handy calculator 8-)
One point worth considering though. Delicas get fitted with all sorts of different tyre sizes and therefore most will be running with odometers that are innacurate, what the owner might consider to be a 300 mile run might only be 270 miles or vice versa :? , i personally reckon that's why we always get big differences when someone puts a thread up asking for MPG figures.
Just my 2p worth. _________________

awesome... using this handy calculator and the info from my trip back from Cornwall on Friday night/Saturday morning, it works out that I got just over 29mpg... which is about what I was hoping for. Journey only had about 3 stops (caffeine intake and nature), was mainly A-road and motorway driving at between 50-60 with occasional 70 mph moments.. oh and I left at 10.30pm and got home at 5.20am.. so no getting caught up in traffic.. |

I've added one of THESE here for the MDOCUK ... it's like the MPG calculator, but gives the cost per gallon instead ;)

For comparison I have just run Kent to Glasgow in a v8 diesel land cruiser at 1,66 per litre off motorway garages it returned 26 mpg. So v6 and 2.5 ain’t that bad for what you have. Ttfn |
