I think you need to be more specific about your oil leak.
can you locate where it is leaking oil? if not, give it a good clean and look again.
careful if it stops leaking without doing anything. then there might be no oil left... :-) |

As said, you need to check out exactly where the oil is coming from. I believe oil from the cam cover breather can be excessive and leak from joints in the intake ducting. A catch can is a common cure. But you'll need to ask a L400 owner for the correct details.

| If you have oil leaking into your intercooler then turbo is leaking, be careful with intercooler with oil in it Potential risk of engine running on this and failing dramatically , |
