Proceed with caution!!!!!!!
Seems suspiciously similar to ads by someone in Wigan previously banged up for dodgy trading with Delica parts. _________________ Talk the torque

Was getting excited by Ebay item number 183878863115 earlier and contacted the guy about it but he said he'd already taken a deposit.

I am currently dealing with an issue with this seller on ebay. Garry parnell
Been waiting for a diesel pump for my pajero. Like a stupid fool I transferred £225 via bank transfer and now I have no part or money. I've given him until 16th July to supply the part, ordered it mid June. He doesn't reply to emails but when he does he won't confirm tracking numbers and I just... Have to wait. Or the pump he did have now doesn't fit and a mate has one. And now I need to wait for his mate.
I transferred the money to an account with the name David Rose
Let my experience be a, warning to others. |

Sounds like the “infamous” Dean is loose again.Apart from not dealing with him there must be some legal way of stopping him trading! _________________ Ian.

Well I have his address, although I'm not sure it’s real. I have a number of options to follow post 16th, reporting to eBay and other things. I realise I won’t get my money back so as long as others are aware then I will see that as a positive.
His ebay user ID is Garryparnell and he sells lots of Delica parts. However I transferred money to an account called David Rose.
The ebay account is registered to 34 New Bridge Gardens, Bury. |

The biggest cockup you made here was doing a bank transfer of money to pay for it on ebay.
Ebay cannot refund you that money, so that is gone, unless a court order and bailiffs are involved; preferably from a high court judge. Their Bailiffs have more power than the police to enter a property and seize money or goods to be sold at auction to pay you back.
Always use a credit card, as they advise. that way they can just take any payments to him, from anybody buying from him and use them to pay you back.
I would be inclined to contact the local trading standards office, who are fully aware of him. It was their prosecution that landed him in prison previously, so I would be surprised if he ignored any involvement by them, as he would end up back inside.
As for stopping him trading. Forget it. History shows that he is easily able to open a new ebay account whenever they shut down an active one he is using.
The courts can make an order to prevent him being a company director, but that will not prevent him having somebody else named in his place, whilst he is still able to buy and sell. No court in the land can prevent him doing that. _________________

I totally accept that my cash has gone, and I don't normally do a bank to bank but for some stupid reason I did. He looked a trusted seller on eBay so thought it would be okay ! :-) Never mind.
I'm going to report him to eBay to make his life hard. He isn't an authorised breaker, as I checked on the DVLA site, and eBay is tightening up on that. I will also mention about taking my money and recieving no goods and how eBay has him as a trusted seller ? I know that ultimately I might be barred for 30 days but if it means he has to restart his account then great.
I didn't look into small claims however I'm not sure who the person is ? Garry Parnell or David Rose ? Is that New Bridge Gardens address correct ?
I was also going to log on to every Delica / Pajero forum and gave an account of my dealings with him as a warning to others.
Finding this thread, well I'm not that shocked if honest. I will contact Trading Standards to. |

Make sure you report this to the Police - preferably local Wigan Police. They must be compiling another dossier on his crimes and victims. The sooner they've got enough on him, the sooner he'll be banged up again, this time hopefully they'll lose the key! _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |
