Hoping to book my ticket this weekend - subject to Delica passing MoT tomorrow (Friday), or any faults found being rectified next week. Welding, undersealing and Lanoguarding complete!

I’ll have to look at the site in view of the new rules.
If we can’t have a club pitch I don’t think I will go.

Just been confirmed, we have a group pitch for Delicas, similar or perhaps smaller than the one we had in June. If booking on the website, book a micro-pitch (smallest available at 6m x 5m) for £62.50 including booking fee. This covers Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and full access to all stands. The Delica group site will be, as usual, in the central area, not the outer, general camping area. I just booked mine. If you book a ticket, please let me know, and when you intend to arrive. Hoping to see you there!
Thanks, Andy.

Sorry too expensive for me now.
For that price per night I would expect full toilet and shower facilities and electric hook up.
Plus looking at around £100 in fuel.
Hope you have a good do.

Ian, Have you read Andy's post right ?

The price he mentioned is for the whole weekend, not per night!

The micro pitch 6m x 5m is £58.50 (£62.50 including booking fee), plus an extra £10 for extra nights Payable in cash at the gate only That is an increase of £13.90 for the weekend, compared to last years £48.60, including booking fee.

Bearing in mind a Deli is 5m long x near on 2m wide, plus your open tailgate and any awning ropes have to be within your pitch area. Park with your Deli lengthwise on the 6m side and you get 1m behind it, which is enough for the open tailgate area, plus you have 3m at the side, which covers a fair sized awning area.

There is a free Club area, provided a minimum of six vehicles turn up, which would mitigate having to keep everything inside your 'pitch' area.  The area we had in April was set for the minimum of six Deli's and we had about 15 on it, including a blow up awning big enough to put a Deli inside.  Laughing

Yeah but I have just had a long(4day) weekend with the Riders club.
Stratford would cost me around £200, camping, fuel, and supplies.
With my domestic fuel and light doubling I just can’t afford another meet so soon.
Sorry but have to give this one a miss.

Glad everyone who attended had a good time.
Nice to see L300s attend.
Maybe next year unless cost of living increases to what is Indicated.

Having not used the Deli since March, and saved a lot of money by doing all the welding and repairs myself, I was able to lash out on one more bash for the season. Apart from fuel and ticket (£200 approx) the only other additional expense was three pints of beer tent beer at £5.00 each, having drunk all my Aldi cheap stuff. The old bus performed immaculately, as always. But I'm thinking I'd prefer to organise an independent Deli meet again for next year - suggestions for good venues and attractions gratefully received. I'll have a think and start a post for it over the weekend.
