Any idea what this wire is for and where it should go?

While contemplating changing the fuel filter, I found this wire that doesn’t seem to have anything to connect to.
So I’m hoping one of you knowledgable folk can tell me what it’s for and where it should go.
Fingers crossed plugging it in somewhere will unleash loads of extra power!  Laughing https://photos.app.goo.gl/P8i7gejmi6ceiVxUA

Hi,
If my Delica is anything to go by, there are loads of 'spare/unconnected' wires.
Or, could it be the feed to the intercooler fan?
Good luck and regards to all.

It is for the intercooler Temp sensor. There is a small shaped metal clip for it to fit in, at the back, next to a white connector block for the fan.

Thanks to you both for the help and replies.
I’ll have a look tomorrow. Is it meant to plug in towards the rear of the car, ie towards the wiper area?

As Lewis sez. At the back and Left (kerbside) of the intercooler there is a metal tag for both plugs.

Easiest way to see the clip and plugs, is to remove the intercooler - - -
If you have not done it before, now is the time to get used to it - - -
Almost any job to be done in the engine department requires removing the intercooler.

Cheers Deker for the info. Yes I’m starting to see a pattern with the intercooler coming off. 🙄
