I have been pulling apart the interior, door footwells and plastic panels, I also have a screw missing from the instrument binnacle that holds the compass etc....  Does anyone know the size of screws used as need to replace some rusty old ones ??

Two types of screws on step liners.
Both are 5mm self tappers short ones are 16mm and long are 35mm, with a wide head.
If you cannot get wide head ones then use a washer.

The console bolt is also 5x16, I think they are 1.5tpi. NB: there are four of them used in the console, so you can get one out to check.

B&Q may have these in.

You can always take one of each of what you need to a local Nut and bolt stockist so they can match them.

My local stockist is brilliant and has not let me down yet, apart from when I asked for a 100mm flourescent skyhook.

I've located a nut and bolt stockist near Bracknell which may be able to supply you:-

Precise fastenings and supplies Ltd, Ivanhoe Rd, Finchampstead, Hogwood Industrial Estate, Wokingham RG40 4QQ
