I have been pulling apart the interior, door footwells and plastic panels, I also have a screw missing from the instrument binnacle that holds the compass etc.... Does anyone know the size of screws used as need to replace some rusty old ones ?? _________________ Always remember when you read my replies I know less than Bazza. |

Hi Lewis ,
On the binnacle its the large screw that fixes to the bracket , looks like 81499 ....and also the self tappers that fix the plastic foot well covers ,,, _________________ Always remember when you read my replies I know less than Bazza. |

Two types of screws on step liners.
Both are 5mm self tappers short ones are 16mm and long are 35mm, with a wide head.
If you cannot get wide head ones then use a washer.
The console bolt is also 5x16, I think they are 1.5tpi. NB: there are four of them used in the console, so you can get one out to check.
B&Q may have these in.
You can always take one of each of what you need to a local Nut and bolt stockist so they can match them.
My local stockist is brilliant and has not let me down yet, apart from when I asked for a 100mm flourescent skyhook.
I've located a nut and bolt stockist near Bracknell which may be able to supply you:-
Precise fastenings and supplies Ltd, Ivanhoe Rd, Finchampstead, Hogwood Industrial Estate, Wokingham RG40 4QQ
