If you are buying them from an on-line supplier, don't trust their recommendation for your car. You need to physically check the internal radiuses on your  vehicle, and check them against the manufacturer's spec, as you don't want to have to stretch-fit them. When fitting, you need to make sure that the joint is straight, without stressing the rubber, and the the joint faces scrupulously clean while the glue bond is setting. Personally, I would see them as a temporary stop-gap to keep the joint clean until you can do a full disassembly and repair with an un-split boot.

Hi
Thanks for the info I've ordered a pair for an L200 as an experiment to see how tricky they are to fit and how long they last. Just wondered if anyone had used them and what the outcome was.
Thanks

Curious to hear how they work.  I cheated on took the replacement CV boot and gave it a shart slice to split it, then used super glue and and silicon based adhesive to glue it in place. Two weeks out and normal driving and its still holding very nicely.  A $25 dollar experiment.
