Morning All
okay so time has come to replace tyres on my LWB L400 (and rear springs )
I've got wheel arch flares on (about 2 inch) so can take a slightly wider tyre/wheel combination, which I quite fancy, not overly bothered about bigger diameter wheels (unless someone knows better)
It's a white truck so looking at black wheels, and need an AT tyre due to some off road excursions and living in the Lakes does have its transport issues in the winter.
Would appreciate any guidance on the tyre/wheel size combination as there seems to be a huge variety of them.
Many Thanks

I don't have modified arches so these may be a bit too pedestrian for you, but I am very happy with my Cooper Discoverer AT tyres

Thanks for reply
You don't have any issues with rubbing on full lock etc ?
Also how do you find the longevity / grip ?

haven't tried them no, but heard good things about them, cheers.
I'm trawling through the various posts about tyres etc and trying to get an idea as to whether I should be looking at 15 or 16 inch wheels, and what width tyres will fit without any mods (other than the fact that I've already got wheel arch flares on) .
Have looked at a combination of 16 inch wheels and 235/80/r16 (maxxis bighorn) . Does anyone know if this will create a clearance problem with front inner wings ?
Cheers

Assuming 15" wheels you can use a 30" x 9.5", including Cooper Discoverer STT's without any Mods at all.

A 31" tyre will reuqire the wheelarch seam flattening and the mudflap bolts removing, plus some removal of the front plastic airdam, though the tyre will also do that for you.

Any width wider than 9.5" will require wheel arch extensions.
