Completely separately from the alternator problem I have the A/T light permanently on!

Mine has been like that for years, gearbox has never been an issue, I check the fluid regularly, it is still nice and pink and doesn't smell burnt or fishy. In long, dry periods, it goes off, and only comes on when put under strain, ie when climbing two or three Lakeland passes in one go. I suspect a dirty/wet/faulty sensor or connection, but have not been able to stop it. _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |

What model you got
Apparently that can sometimes occur with alternator failure.

Hello,
Fault Codes?? How do I do that?
However, since the new alternator was fitted it’s gone out!!
