Hi
My garage has changed the timing belt, water pump and replaced a couple of coolant pipes and now he's having difficulties bleeding the system. He telling me the heater is pumping out warm air but he thinks but should be hotter.  He's taken the front matrix out to see if there's blockage etc but seems fine, the rear matrix has been bypassed by me due to a leak.

So are there any hints to bleed the coolant system so I can pass it on?

Thanks in advance

Jon

to bleed the system there is a black plastic nut to loosen.  It's on the right as you look in the engine bay above the battery....

The only thing i can think of is the system was filled without removing the vent bolt on the top of the thermostat/top hose housing to let air out as coolant goes in, other than that i not ever had a problem filling them.

its clean and totally unblocked and watertight

Hi Peter
Thanks very much for the offer. I'm going to convert it to a camper van so I wasn't planning to use the rear heater anyway but it's very kind of you to offer

Cheers
