I need to get timing belts, tensioners, water pump, and crankshaft seal.

I don't want dodgy unsure of source iffy parts given the importance of the job this lot do.

For example do Europarts or GSF offer reliably sourced OEM bits ?

Where is the best place to get the proper Mitsubishi bits from?

All opinions appreciated.   Smile

Thanks

You could start with a main dealer parts dept. The 4d56 engine was used in a huge range of vehicles for 30+ years so most service items still in stock. For me Poole Mitsubishi have been good in the past.

With you living in Dartford you are only a hop, skip and jump from one of the best Mitsu Deli machanics around, Club member mark3.

Ho can probably advise you on the best suppliers in the area.

I've sent him a PM to view this post.

Hiya, I used to get most parts I needed from my local supplier or George at Pajero shop as the 2.5td and 2.8td engines are pretty much the same.

As I packed it all in back in June I no longer move in these circles so can't be more helpful.

okay Thanks for the replies. Main dealer is a very good point I don't know why I didn't look at that - must be nightshift fog - gets worse as you get older  Confused
I have previously bought a lot of Smart roadster parts from Mercedes who made them and surprisingly sometimes they are cheaper than the independent specialists
I now see there is JCB Mitsubishi dealer in Rainham so I'll give them a shout on Monday.

And found George at Pajero shop on Ebay, he ships for next day, available on the phone, 100% feedback and good value Mitsubishi stamped parts. Looks very good, so appreciate you popping back in the circle with that one.

Great. Thanks for your help.
