Hi Bob, I don't have anything to reference that part number, but I'm sure Mitsubishi dealers do, if they can be bothered. You may have to wait several weeks and pay import charges, customs duty etc. but whatever they are, you should be able to get them as you have the part number. _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |

Hi Bob, agree with Andy, not sure what they mean by they "are not sure they can help"... Given that you specifically know what you need and have an actual part number, would this perhaps translate as "we can't really be bothered"?
Would you be able to try another dealership nearby? The two times I used them for this sort of stuff, my local one was quite helpful (and very quick!) - I think it must really depend on local management etc. Did you speak to the parts department specifically, as opposed to just the front desk?
I've just had a look at Amayama myself, the part no. you give comes up as orderable? Did you try? Relatively low value so it may be worth the risk, although it does look like there will be a bit of a wait.
Finally, what model type is this for? Just wondering there are exchangeable part numbers? _________________ 1992 L300 Exceed "Selma" |

Hi jejoenje
Thank you for your reply. I will try another dealer. I have just tried Amayama again and you are correct, it appears to be in stock.
Last week they emailed me to say it was out of stock and no relevant match with another part.
So i have just sent them an enquiry to check the status of the part.
My Mitsubishi is A L300 Delica with the JB500 body. It is based on the L300 truck.
Model Type KC-P25T YHNJT1
Thank you for your advice

I must admit I've never actually tried ordering anything from Amayama, so it may well be in places where everything is always "in stock" until you actually try to order it...
Yea, I'd give another dealership a go. I guess it is possible the part you are looking for is no longer being manufactured at all but I wouldn't know of any other way of finding that out than via a dealership. _________________ 1992 L300 Exceed "Selma" |

Thank you Again.
I was kinder hoping someone somewhere made custom bushes to order. i often watch wheeler dealer, they always seem to find some little company somewhere who can make what they want.

All else fails, you can always ask the Mitsi dealership in Stirling, I'd be happy to pick up a prepaid order and post it to you, if they are willing/able to help. _________________ 1992 L300 Exceed "Selma" |

I had to change this very same bush on my JB470 bodies L300 (It has completely different steering mechanism than the standard L300).
Give Viamoto a ring - they are extrtemely helpful, and is where I got mine from last time. It will still need ordering from Japan, but mine came in a couple of weeks.
Also order any other wear component in this assy at the same time.

I had to use heat from an oxy acetylene torch to get the steering arm off mine - it wasn't an easy job.
When you come to change the bushes on the idler (N/S) they are these:

I was wondering, looking at one of the parts diagrams I saw! Useful info for future reference! _________________ 1992 L300 Exceed "Selma" |

Bob,
The lower and upper seals for the relay / bellcrank are MB166508 (47113) AND MB288175 (47107c) - get them if they are available still.
Good luck with the job.
Dave. |
