okay I finally got the Deli back from Mitsi in Cornwall, they got the timing issue sorted but It didn't stay started as it would cut out unless I revved the engine as if the idle had been set to low.
I didn't have time to get them to rectify it as I had to get to a funeral, and after five mins when it was warmed up it was fine, but I need to get this sorted. Does anyone have a few suggestions as to where to tweak this.
Is it the TPS or is it the Idle air control motor or the throttle body itself. It's down the garage again in a few days so it would be nice to give the guy a few pointers before they start ripping off the intake again and messing with the timing !

Is there not a simple stop screw on the accelerator linkage on the pump? There is on the L300.

| I've no clue. I would presume so, but is that the issue. It seems a bit daft if Mitsi didn't sort that ! |

Idle adjustment is located below of steering wheel.
BUT... I have no clue how to operate it!
Is it to turn? Or pull?

Are you sure that isn't the fresh air vent in the bonnet scoop? If you have a manual throttle (it's really there for warming up in cold weather, or setting the engine speed for running ancilliary equipment like a winch without flattening the battery), you press the accelerator pedal to the speed you want, pull out and twist the knob to lock it at that setting.

After checking in the manual, it's a vent, I don`t have a throttle one, shame really, would be very handy. I can always use a brick on the pedal lol?
This vent knob, how to operate it please?
I don`t want to damage it, tried to pull or twist but not too strong...

I'm not familiar with them, but like any under-used cable-operated mechanism, a bit of lubrication and working from both ends may free it up.
