I found one of my catch can posts in a pajero owners site, I didn't post it there though. Confused

Anyhow, the pictures died along with photobucket but after reading the 15 year old post I found it was not a biscuit barrel, it was a tea/coffee/ sugar ensemble from Wilkos, made from marine grade stainless steel with a brushed finish and embellished with rhinestone COFFEE lettering, which was right on trend in those days. Enjoy.

Why is it I only hear of catch cans fitted to 4M40s, never, I think, on 4D56s?.My L300 uses less than 0.5 litres between oil changes every 8,000km/18months, some of that from the rear half moon seal.  Currently approaching 180,000 and its next oil and filter change.

Have you considered changing the seal and saving oil ?  Rolling Eyes

No, it's rust-proofing the underside! Laughing

Don't let a motorcyclist hear you say that.  Laughing

It never drips - hence why it uses so little oil.
