My near side passenger door actuator isn't working, so removed it and took it to bits and found the motor has burnt out. seems an easy job just to replace the motor. does anyone know what motor it is ? there is no writing on the outer case ? _________________ Always remember when you read my replies I know less than Bazza. |

Central locking door power motor.

I've also seen the small, flat sided, motors on ebay, somewhere. _________________

Those units are cheap as chips. Either two or four wires. Two wires will just unlock and lock controlled by the fob, or drivers door locking.
Four wires will also lock all the other doors when you lock that door with the key, as long as they are wired correctly. Hope that makes sense.
With the two wire, the worst that should happen, if you get them wrong is that the door will unlock, instead of locking, so test, and reverse them if needed.
I use those actuators with the original mitsubishi control unit.
It looks like a right click unit or similar.
A complete set and controller is probably around £30, so what you have pictured should be less than a fiver. _________________ A Little Knowledge is Dangerous and expensive! especially if your me Mending anything!! |

I can't copy the link, as on the phone and I'm useless, but search right click door actuator.
I may have meant five wires instead of four, but a two wire unit is cheaper and easier.
