In case anyone is interested (I did a search on "wheel lock" previously and couldn't find an answer so just took a punt) a Stoplock Pro (i.e. not an Elite) fits nicely on the steering wheel of an L400. Get the wheel in the right position and it'll only move an inch or two between the window and the door frame, but if not it'll always hit the seat so can't be fully turned.

I use Autolock, designed to fit over Handbrake and Manual Gear stick.
I done a small modification so that it fits on the Steering wheel, and over the Column shift lever.
Method: Turn the steering wheel Hard Left, gear shift in Park, and attach the device.
Its almost impossible to turn the wheel to get the gears out of Park. Plus steering is on Full Left Lock.
I think July Hands. Princess on here, uses your device.
