Eliica - Add a D in the name, knock off an I - - - What do we have here  Question

I fancied one of these when I was driving a taxi.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oEjbHXdbTug

Now then, if the suspension could be raised, err - - -  quite a lot, + a much higher roof - - -

Certainly could be the answer to those of us Delica owners who have the misfortune to live in,
or near to big cities, where Diesel powered vehicles will be CONDEMNED  Evil or Very Mad
Regardless that a Diesel powered vehicle may be be of "A specialist" type of vehicle.

Anyone got next weeks lottery numbers  Question

Mr D

Have a look at the Rivian Adventure EV, on the same page of YouTubes. Awesome!

Interesting specs. Just 18 seconds in she say the 5.1L car runs on Lithium Ion batteries and goes on to say it has done 400kph, on a test track; plus it can be recharged from a household electrical supply in 10 hours.  Shocked

May be the suspension is height adjustable as well!! Shocked

I looked at electric when my engine popped.
A conversion using either Tesla or Nissan Leaf parts is an option, but currently about £20k-£30k from a classic conversion company.

If I did it myself then this may be the result...

The Delica would make an expert subject for such a system - plenty of load space for a nice big battery pack! However, it would definitely need regenerative braking - that would require changing down on the auto box before the torque converter "drops out".
