Apologies for posting in possibly the wrong section. Having searched through the forum, whilst I've come across references to Active Field as an L400 mode descriptor, I've not found any real definition as to what it is, what it gives over other models and whether it is worth looking out for as a model.
Cheers,
Matt |

From previous posts on here, I think the Active Field models are S3, so the diesels have electronic IP, and electronic traction control, as opposed to the more traditonal, viscous/mechanical 4WD system. It is hard to find diagnostics in the UK for the IP, I believe, although I'd be surprised if there aren't a few pirate imported systems by now. _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |

Special edition made in 2006 Series 2. (S3 is what the Aussies call the S2 )
They have:-
GH-PD6W SWB Chassie
6G72 3.0L Petrol engine.
High roof
4 Gear Auto's transmission.
They have the HSEU3 body code (NB: some places also list them as the HSEU2 code, which is for the SAM-PKG version)
Both seven and eight seater models were made.
This Parts Cataloque link is specific to the Active Field Edition:- https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/epc/mitsubishi-japan/delica_space_gear/PD6W/HSEUE3
