As seems to be the 'norm' nowadays loads say they will attend and it's only the usual people turn up.
Anyway it was good to meet Rich (CSMonkey) and Stu who came up from the SouthWest.
Greg was there Friday but took a turn for the worse health wise and left Saturday morning.
Nigel was there, but in a Sprinter that he had just got.
We had some "wets" in the beer tent on Saturday night.
Some interesting conversions to be seen, including one guy who had just put a 10' caravan on the back of a crew cab VW pickup.

Sorry no pics this time as it would just be of Andyman's and my L300s and I have done enough of them!!

It's a shame that the stewards/staff at the entrance didn't know there was a Delica site on the field, I believe booked by Nigel. I had to ask them to look at the plan when I arrived, and surprise! , There it was, indexed and marked! So Rich and Stu, and another couple I met, were told to find a place in the general camping area. Perhaps because Delicas are now so thin on the ground, a lot of people have no idea what one is. Despite rain on both Friday and Saturday nights, we enjoyed both nights sociably and comfortably, Friday in Nigel's heated Sprinter, and Saturday with Rich and Stu in the beer tent, with disco and live rock band. After parting company with Ian at Stratford, shortly after noon, I didn't see another Deli all the way home. Remarkably, the daylight hours were dry during our stay.

I made it up for the Saturday, saw the two L300s and the Sprinter near the day parking area and was intending to come and say hello once we had finished the trade area but after only a couple of hours unfortunately had to head back south for a small family emergency.

I'll try my hardest to make it to the next one sorry guys.

Stuart
