Yes, Delicas have a designated area, we may even have a flag on a pole! Someone on the gate will be able to direct you to our area. I'm bringing my fire basket and a bag of logs. Bring a big coat and pull up a chair!

last year, if I recall correctly, the day parking area was separate from the camping area

anyone know better ?

(I am hoping to make it up there on Saturday, as a day trip)

hmmmm it looks likely to be another wet weekend

Yes, the day parking is separate, and they will be taking great care not to let any day visitors take their vehicles into the group camps, as last year, some apparently camped for the whole weekend!

Bit of a *beep*/fan scenario here means that I will only be daytripping.

Will come and say hello though.

Arrived but it's dark so parked in the general area where they suggested. Will be in the beer tent then will go Delica hunting when the sun comes up.

Good to meet you CSMonkey and Stu.
I don't know what they do with the site plan, definitely don't give it to the onsite marshalls.
They could only tell me where the Mitsubishi site roughly was, so as last year drove down the site and spotted Greg's L400 so pulled up there and set up.
Andyman joined us later by the same means.
I'm afraid this is the state of things Delica, we propose a meet and location and people say they will come and then it ends up the same couple of owners at the meet.
It was well down on the 9 Delicas we had last year.
Anyway we enjoyed it and the "few" wets we had with you two in the beer tent Saturday night.

Likewise great to meet Ian and Andy over the weekend. If it wasn't for the traffic and the weather we might have got there before the sun went down and then had the opportunity to park up in the clubs area rather the the other field.

I had only been on the Sunday in April, so there seemed a lot more show stuff this time. Got to watch a great talk by an ex-squaddie Steve who did all of South America up to Alaska on a Triumph Tiger. Also saw some immense expedition vehicles and conversions.

The beer tent was well stocked and after a few shandies the bands were quite good. [as for the DJ, he was lucky to get out in one piece  Laughing  Laughing ]

Hopefully this link will work... https://photos.app.goo.gl/9jUYX5T6SUR8F1pw7
